About Me
I’m Amber, a South-Asian actor, arts advocate, and aspiring creative producer + show-runner currently in my junior year at NYU Tisch!
Born in New Jersey, raised in Toronto, and somehow also British (thanks Dad for that plot twist!), no matter where I’ve called home, my passion for storytelling has always followed. I’m drawn to stories that feature bold, emotionally charged characters that are ruthlessly magnetic (think Shiv Roy meets Olivia Pope).
As an actor, I’ve completed my training at the Meisner Studio and Atlantic Acting School at NYU Drama. Most recent credits include Molly in the upcoming NYU Thesis Film The Delegate, Cornelia in the Meisner Studio production of COACHCOACH, and Colleen in The Game at NYU’s Premier Play Festival.
Some may also call me a closeted corporate baddie, having recently interned at The Wolper Organization (a Warner Bros. production company) and The International Emmys in producing-related roles. I guess my affinity for workplace satires and professional dramas makes sense!
Above all, I am the proud co-founder of an arts not-for-profit organization called The Off The ChARTs Foundation. We’re dedicated to providing professional development resources to emerging creatives, having hosted a podcast for four years, organized a global arts universities conference, and most recently, an emerging-career media accelerator. TLDR: Whether it’s in an office, in front of the camera, or on stage, I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and the hustle it takes to make bold ideas come to life!
